Metaverse Music Festival (MVMF) Wearables Creation

ABSTRACT The goal of this proposal is to create new wearables to use during the Metaverse Music Festival (MVMF) - 8 Decentraland Wearables and 1 Emote. There will be a snapshot taken and airdrops of these wearables. As well as the ability for us to use and sell these to the public. Last year this festival brought in approximately 49,500 people.

GRANT AMOUNT $1350 – For Submission of wearables to Decentraland. $1200 – For Metaskins to create the Wearables and emote. Total of $2550

PROPOSAL Have Metaskins create seven wearables and one emote using the DAO funds.

Wearables:

1. Jesus Skin – Neon Party version (Epic 1000 Total)
2. Moses Skin – Neon Party version (Epic 1000 Total)
3. Vishnu Skin – Neon Party version (Epic 1000 Total)
4. Buddha Skin – Neon Party version (Epic 1000 Total)
5. Magdalena Skin – The Holy Chica from THO Videos (Epic 1000 Total)
6. THO themed Varsity Jacket - (Epic 1000 Total)
7. Metaverse Festival Themed Wearable – (Legendary 100 total)
8. Sign Holding Skin – Generic Promotion of Holy Ones and Holy Temple with Coordinates (rare 5000 total)

Emote:

1. Metaverse Festival Emote - (Epic 1000 Total)

SNAPSHOT & AIRDROP A snapshot will be taken on November 3, 2022 of all The Holy Ones NFT Holders. The actual time of the airdrop will be announced. Airdrops will be completed on November 4, 2022 as long as all networks run smoothly. All The Holy Ones NFT holders will receive a free skin of Magdalena during the snapshot. The rest of the quantity of Magdalena Skin will be available for new holders on a first come first served basis until supplies last.

As for the Neon Party version of Jesus, Moses, Vishnu and Buddha skin, an airdrop would depend on The Holy One NFT you hold during the snapshot. For instance if you have 2 Jesus characters and 1 Moses, you will receive 1 Jesus Skin and 1 Moses Skin. Same rules apply as the original Holy Ones airdrop. If you have the Satoshi of The Holy Ones NFT, you will get 1 of each Neon Party Skin wearable (No Satoshi wearable will be made from this proposal). The rest of the quantity of these skin wearables will be available for new holders on a first come first served basis until supplies last.

THO THEMED VARSITY JACKET & SIGN HOLDING SKIN The Holy Ones Themed Varsity Jacket will be delegated to Nick and team to give out as they choose.

The Sign Holding Skin needs to be for the general promotion of the Holy Ones and Holy Temple. The front of the sign will create awareness about the Holy Ones, the back of the sign will invite people to the Holy Temple and give the coordinates. We were unable to sponsor the Techno Stage for this event due to NBC covering the story and them not allowing Gambling advertising. So we are going to have to do it on our own. So the goal is to get these wearables and raid the NBC area as well as have other uses for them in the future. By not putting a date and making this more generic, it essentially makes this a timeless wearable for Decentraland. The Metaskins team will be in charge of giving these out.

METAVERSE FESTIVAL WEARABLE & EMOTE The Metaverse Festival Themed Wearable will be Legendary with 100 total supply. All the Holy Insiders will receive 1 for free. 10 will be reserved for Crew3 exclusively. The rest leftover, which is around 75 total, will be sold for 15-20 Mana (prices can be adjusted based on demand) which if sold out would give us a return of 1150-1500 MANA depending on price. Currently 1150 MANA is approximately $680.

The Emote for the Metaverse Festival will be Epic with 1000 total supply. All the Holy Insiders will receive 1 for free. 100 will be reserved for Nick to give out as he chooses. This will leave about 880 total supply left to sell. We are going to sell this Emote for 9 MANA (prices can be adjusted based on demand). The goal is start a trend with this emote, so we don’t want to make the price crazy, but if we sell 355 at this price, we can make around 3195 MANA. Currently 3195 MANA is approximately $1885.

If we can sell the rest of the 75 MVMF Wearable and 355 of the Emote, we can break even. This is less than 1% of the people to break even if we have the same turn out as last year. Last year this Festival had approximately 49,500 people so it is possible to do it over the 4 days this event is going on.

STRUGGLES AND HARDSHIPS The deadline for this is very soon. This is going to be a big push for the Metaskins team. However they have not let us down before! Also we may not make a return on investment right away. Decentraland’s issues for the end users may impact our sales and the events.

CONCLUSION This is a big push for more wearables that we can use to continue promoting the Holy Ones in Decentraland with the possibility of making a return on investment.
