Holy Temple Grand Opening Event & Week of

ABSTRACT The goal of this proposal is to receive a grant from our treasury to sponsor a marketing campaign for the Holy Temple Grand Opening in Decentraland. Throughout the week leading up to the Holy Temple’s Grand Opening, there are going to be Decentraland events that we sponsor or put on to promote the Grand Opening. The goal is to make sure that everyone in DCL make this huge event. The Metaskins Team is pushing hard to make this Grand Opening amazing for us. Let’s fill this Holy Temple up with pure excitement.

The $400 buffer may not be used, but since this is a lot of events, I wanted to make sure that I had some room to add on anything last minute that would supplement the events. 5 days for this proposal to pass is already a long time, with only a few weeks away.

PROPOSAL First, I propose the Grand Opening Party of the Holy Temple be called “Holy Smokes!” We want it to be different than the name of the temple because we want to promote using the Hashtag “#HolySmokes.” We know there is going to be a lot of things that shock people when they come in for the first time. So hence the name “Holy Smokes.” I propose the DAO grants the top dollar amount of $1,700 to cover the costs of all the events. Event times are subject to change, but mostly are solidified.

So I lined up promotions throughout the week in which I want to add the events to our Discord Calendar for everyone, even though they are not our events. This is important that we make it a priority to show up for because we will be sponsored at these events I list here:

Monday (9/26) – Tru Band Room 11p UTC Wednesday (9/28) – Penguin Club 10p UTC -12a UTC Thursday (9/29) – Aquarium 9p UTC – 11p UTC Friday (9/30) – Club Rage 7p UTC HOLY SMOKES: Holy Temple Grand Opening Event will be on Friday 8pm EST September 30/ Saturday 12am UTC October 1

On Monday I am proposing sponsorship at MoFyah Mondays in the Tru Band Room which will include a banner to the event and Shoutouts throughout the event.

Wednesday, we are doing a Holy Penguin collab at the Penguin Club! Oligar was kind enough to make a banner for the event and we are going to provide DJ Trax at the event. DJ Trax will be making announcements throughout the event about the Holy Smokes Party.

Thursday, at the Aquarium, we are providing DJ Trax come out a get an Aquarium Party going! Dj Trax will be making announcements throughout the event about the Holy Smokes Party.

Friday we have 2 event: First at Club Rage where MultiNFT is going to give us a Banner Space and allow DJ Trax to announce throughout the event about the Holy Smokes Party.

Then of course later we have our Main event: Holy Smokes Party where DJ Trax and Billy Teacoin will be DJing the main event. Decentraland Now is going to be there and report on the event. I am in works with JTV to stream this event. This is going to be a HUGE Event that no one is going to want to miss out on!

I am going to keep all the prices of everyone’s individual costs private. But If you would like to DM, I would happily provide the breakdown of the costs. I worked out some deal with everyone around and I think that this is going to be a big event.

STRUGGLES AND HARDSHIPS There are a lot of moving parts to these events, and we need to try to fill each of them so that way people will feel the excitement and want to come to our main event. However, I think for the most part I have gotten everything coordinated.

Also there is no direct monetary return on this investment. This is an awareness campaign that we hope everyone will have such a positive experience in the Holy Temple. From this we hope that people will play our games and mint Holy Ones NFTs. If we make this known everywhere, this should create severe FOMO about missing this event.
