ABSTRACT

We propose that the Holy DAO (Treasury) use its funds to build out the best on-chain gaming platform available. Firstly, we strongly believe that on-chain gaming or Web3 gaming is the next revolution of the ever-growing online gaming industry. We also believe that the metaverse is the next generation of online life or even life itself. The task ahead is to mix the two as a bridge that the world will remember as a strong propeller for the move in that direction over the coming years. This proposal is an effort to take over the DApp gaming world in both mobile and PC environments.

PROPOSAL

Metaskins has now amassed over a year of experience building 3d assets for the metaverse. We will utilize that experience to create a DApp that presents the best metaverse and blockchain gaming elements in an innovative integrated environment. We see ample opportunity to win a substantial volume from the on-chain gaming market that lacks the fantastic player experience we know we can create. From gamification to social engagement to extraordinary animation, all provide a better experience than today's existing offers in the on-chain gaming space. Imagine a place with avatar dealers, group chats, cosmetic rewards, team elements, and more.

Picture this; you are playing a Crash Game while joking around with other players in the chat box. Each user is represented by their customized avatar, of course. You now feel that this might be the crash game that goes all the way up to 100x, so you decide to ride it out. You were right, you felt it, and the crash game ran up to 100x! Then, you hit the cash-out button, and BOOM, you just won the most significant multiplier of the day! Everyone else in the chatbox is jealous, throwing nasty emojis at you, and then it happens, your avatar changes, and you've now become King Big Balls. Everyone sees it, is envious, and you know it. Not only because of your new avatar but because you are about to receive that Big Balls NFT for life! What does that NFT symbolize? It's swag/clout/bragging rights, of course, but It also represents your ticket to the monthly Big Balls Crash Game Contest, where the winner or last person standing wins the big monthly prize!

After that fun Crash Game in we move on to the next game. You are now playing a live dealer that is interacting with you, telling you how great you are while playing some blackjack. She also happens to be incredibly sexy. Cool right? But one more thing, she's not real, she's an NPC, but she looks pretty damn close. This brings us to the next aspect of this project: Unreal Engine 5. Unreal will be the end goal of this DApp development project and the facilitator for this new-gen experience. The founders and developers at Metaskins have scoped out a team to position THO to execute the designated mission. The thought-out combination of skills in animation, 3d modeling, website design, front-end and backend full stack web development, game developer, smart-contract developers, blockchain integration team, and team leadership will situate us in the correct position to capture the market.

This project's scope is to get release an MVP of the games in a straightforward unity-based environment. Next, move on to getting a live product in the Unity environment. Finally, take the experiences from the work done up to that point to create the Unreal 5 experience. This will be game-changing for this community and the current landscape of DApp gaming.

STRUGGLES & HARDSHIPS

There are a few things that we will need to make sure are well planned and well executed to protect from struggles and hardships. One make or break aspect to this mission being a successful one is marketing. We feel that due to the unique community driven aspect to our project, we can utilize the power of a deep community, and shared goals to funnel engagement into our offerings. We absolutely need to use this strength in numbers. This is officially the time that we, as a community must put our minds together to think of the most effective ways to grab our market share. From classical marketing activities to guerilla and outside the box marketing, the decisions that we make to drive in users is one of the most important and tricky aspects of this project.

Customer service has become a constant struggle for new gaming operators to offer help to their users. We believe our deep experience in customer service in the web2 space will make sure we avoid the relationship between operator and player.

Another hardship will be security of the website, both on mobile and pc by making sure to keep away from various hack attacks and maintaining strong security protocols.

Lastly, the integration of a DApp in a mobile gaming environment is still a new phenomenon. We plan to be the first to offer this in a seamless way, with our team's knowledge in unity game development, backend integration, and blockchain integration. A mobile, or even PC based DApp product on Unreal Engine is something that we have yet to see, and therefore will need to be researched in depth to ensure creating the unique experience we envision. Firsts of anything are very difficult due to the lack of framework, but we are confident we can overcome the challenge and present this truly unique product.

CONCLUSION

This proposal aims to receive a grant of $15-$17.5USD/month from our treasury to sponsor the development project for (Holycasino.com/io→NEED NAME). The project leader will be David, and the team will utilize the agile-like methodology of sprints-based tasks to reach the critical finish line.
