Science is lacking because it does not take into account pure conscious awareness

Science is fundamentally a study of phenomena. Pure conscious awareness is non-phenomenal. Therefore science does not take into account the impact of pure conscious awareness. Without including awareness within the scope of scientific method and rigour science becomes a religion of sorts - a 'belief' is required that reality as we experience it is the only truth. It is therefore lacking and limited only to the realm of phenomena.
