Collect 6% Royalties On Sales From Secondary Market

Voting ended about 4 years agoSucceeded

At The Stonk Society, we believe in making people wealthy and get their money to work for them. As of now, all our ways of generating passive income has been through certain DeFi based mechanics.

While the community treasury will be used for making investments based on the votes of holders on various strategies, the treasury itself wouldn't grow much.

As a result, the team proposes that we collect 6% royalties on sales from secondary markets. This would not only increase profits for holders on a monthly basis but would also help grow the treasury each month. This would help holders to earn profits in the future as the treasury's size grows each month.

The exact bifurcation of royalties can be discussed in a later vote after our first investment cycle starts because the royalties earned will be dispersed along with the profits after the end of the each investment cycle.

However, it is extremely important to decide whether or not we would like to have the royalties mechanism because we're inching closer towards minting out and will have to submit our collection for verification on Paintswap! While submitting the collection we'll have to add the Royalties details.

If the proposal passes, the plan of action will be as follows :

  1. Create a separate wallet for royalties from secondary market sales & share address with the community.
  2. While getting collection verified on Paintswap, we'll add this wallet address to receive royalties.
  3. At the end of each investment cycle, the amount from this Royalties wallet will then be split based on the bifurcations that will be decided in a future vote.
