Use testnet $THRIVE for ThriveCoin members to vote on how to allocate $THRIVE treasury funds

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

Introduction: ThriveCoin makes it easy for people to earn crypto for contributing to the communities they love.

We are a community of DAO builders who are creating utility, designing tools, and exchanging best practices to enable a more dynamic and inclusive future for web3 communities.

We are currently experimenting with a set of protocols and a web app in testnet.

Our $THRIVE token supports users of our protocols and web app in rewarding different contributions to their communities.

We believe that organizing a DAO structure to allocate funds from the treasury is a worthwhile experiment for three reasons:

Aligned vision. DAOs provide a way for communities to collaborate and build in a distributed and decentralized manner. An important component of our vision is to support DAOs in thriving.

Target audience. Our early adopters are largely DAO communities that want to reward contributions from their members. Experimenting with DAO governance structures creates strong alignment with our members.

Funds allocation. We believe the best way to allocate funds from our treasury is for active ThriveCoin contributors to vote on how funds are allocated - this ensures that outcomes are aligned with member needs.

Proposal: Use testnet $THRIVE for ThriveCoin members to vote on how to allocate $THRIVE treasury funds.

[For clarification: we are not yet proposing a voting structure or strategy. We are simply proposing that testnet $THRIVE is the token we will use to vote]
