ApeDAO Professionalization

APE DAO has reached a point in it’s growth where we are considering having a compensated team that undertakes specific tasks for the DAO.

The proposed options are:

1. Keep doing what we are doing (for the moment). I.e.: having uncompensated volunteers to take on any activities that the DAO votes to execute on.

2. Professionalize: allow the DAO to have remunerated roles with specific delegated responsibilities. This is expected to cost the DAO between $350k-$500k USD annually (depending on the “how”).

This proposal deals with the “should we” but not the “how”. The “how” will be discussed in the governance channels in Discord and put to vote, should this vote pass.
