People have overinvested... By a lot... We should do something.
Values of our NFT holdings (BAYC, Voxies, AKC, other) are mooning, but the values of our $APED holdings are stagnant or falling.
In my opinion, the current performance is conditioning the market to think of $APED as an underperforming token that should trade BELOW the FV of the NFTs we hold. The longer we let that market stigma linger, the harder it will be to wash off.
$APED has always been a longer-term focused holding, but some are looking for short term exit liquidity.
Hypothetically, if we buy back tokens below the fair value of the assets we hold, it will provide exit liquidity for those that need it while also being a +EV play for long-term holders.
I propose we begin the process of offering buyouts to those in need of liquidity through Uniswap and/or some form of fair, structured buyout outside of Uniswap that we structure within the community.
The how, and how much will come next, but first...
Should we take a more consistent, active role in maintaining $APED pricing that more closely aligns with our NFT holdings?
