This project aims to create the Guild Guidelines that determine how a guild is established and intended to work in a transparent and auditable way, guild's scope of work, and how compensation will work for those guilds.
Community is the most valuable asset of MoonDAO. Yet, we still lack an efficient system to onboard, educate and enable our talented members to contribute to the development of MoonDAO.
MoonDAO Guilds are talent pools created to address the above problems. Currently, there are a couple of MoonDAO guilds, namely: growth guild, writing guild, development guild. Yet, they have not been operated in a systematic and effective way. There is a lack of clear definition of guild scope of works, guild member right and responsibility, regular activities (e.g. on-boarding, training, bounties, etc.).
This project aims to create the Guild guideline which will help to answer the following questions:
Upon the completion of the guideline, roll out the document through providing multi training sessions, and set an example through establishing a new Guild
Systematic and effective system for on-board, incubate, and enable new contributors to MoonDAO. This is one step closer to a decentralized and autonomous organization.
The Guild guideline should be considered as a breathing document which is subject to change overtime. It is acknowledged that the Project team has limited experience running guilds. Thus the guideline may need to be revised to reflect the best practice over time.
