Abstract

MoonDAO needs a better incentive structure to reward proactive doers and a carrot to retain their initiative and drive within the organization going forward. This proposal will create a new, more objective system of assigning and paying Core Contributors based on past performance in our quarterly retroactive rewards, incentivizing them to stay involved in MoonDAO governance and to perform tasks or self-start initiatives that would provide benefit and impact to MoonDAO but fall outside the scope of an existing project (either because they are “too small” or more ambitious with an uncertain outcome or unlikely to be successful but offer a high potential impact).
