We have a new exciting proposal that we are putting forward to our community for your consideration for Toshi's future growth and positive impact. As part of our mission to explore high-potential, innovative projects, we’re proposing an investment in an Apex AirNode by World Mobile, a decentralized, blockchain-powered mobile network focused on providing affordable, universal internet access to under-connected communities worldwide.

About World Mobile

World Mobile is democratizing global connectivity through its blockchain-based decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN). Unlike traditional telecom providers, World Mobile operates on a sharing economy model, enabling individuals and businesses to run network nodes, connect their communities, and earn rewards. Over the last 12 months, World Mobile has achieved over 100,000 daily active users, launching cellular and internet services across Africa, Asia and the USA. The network is powered by the Word Mobile Token ($WMTX). WMTx can be staked, is the only DePIN token to be used as gas on its own chain, and incentivizes node operators and builders to develop a thriving blockchain ecosystem.

Recent Developments: Launch on Base

World Mobile recently expanded by launching on Base. This strategic move links World Mobile’s communications-centric Layer 3 blockchain, the World Mobile Chain (WMC), with Base’s Ethereum-based Layer 2 blockchain, leveraging Base as its settlement layer. A key outcome of this integration is the addition of the Coinbase Smart Wallet within the World Mobile app, enabling a smooth onboarding process for new on-chain users.

With the Base launch, World Mobile is advancing its mission to build one of the world’s largest Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN). This aligns with their recent expansion of triple-play services—providing cellular, broadband, and value-added services across EVM blockchains.

Apex AirNode: Key Information

The Apex AirNode is the backbone of World Mobile’s next-generation wireless network. Each Apex AirNode offers high-bandwidth wireless coverage up to 30 km line of sight and can support connectivity for up to 250 Link AirNodes (or 500 with the Apex 180 model). This would mean Toshi could support reliable and cost-effective connectivity for a vast number of users, aligning with both our community’s values and our mission for high-impact, sustainable projects.

• Investment Cost: $15,999 plus 1.75% for insurance. • Expected Returns: Estimated payback period of 1–3 years. Last month, Apex 90 AirNodes earned an average of $547, equating to a 41% APY.
