Support Mark Lee’s Recovery

Dear Totem Family,

On Saturday, April 2nd, our beloved friend & mastermind behind the pixelated XOiD artwork, Mark Lee (@somnio8), got into a severe scooter accident in Ubud, Bali.

Mark has a critical head injury with bleeding around the brain. Surgery to relieve the pressure around his brain was successful, but once he wakes up he will require surgery for a broken left hand, as well as at least 10 days of intensive care followed by 3 months of rehabilitation.

All medical costs must come out of pocket. Mark’s friends and family are raising money to cover his medical bills. So far, they have raised $20k of their $30k goal.

We are submitting this DAO vote as a proposal to cover the remaining $10k with funds directly from the XOiD Vault.

Mark is one of the most beautiful, kind-hearted and gentle souls you could ever meet, and an incredibly gifted artist, visionary & inventor.
