Integrate Polygon into Trust Wallet

Summary

Polygon is currently the leading Ethereum scaling solution. Its PoS commit chain is currently live, production ready and supports 500+ DApps. A number of DeFi blue-chips like QuickSwap, AAVE, Curve, SushiSwap, Balancer, CREAM etc. are leading the “DeFi Summer” activities on Polygon contributing over 6B in TVL! The community has embraced Polygon’s low gas fees, high throughput and rich ecosystem of users and developers.

Adoption

There are currently over 200k DAU, 500+ DApps across DeFi, NFT and Gaming, and over 1.3M wallet addresses on the Polygon PoS commit-chain. We have $10M on an average in-flow from chains like BSC and HECO for DeFi activities. You can find more analytics here at Nansen, AAVE and Sushi.

Motivation

Supporting the Polygon network opens an array of blue-chip DeFi, Gaming and NFT projects that will be accessible to the Trust Wallet community. The growing ecosystem of DApps and users spread across the globe will help Trust Wallet further grow its community.

Users of 500+ DApps want to access the Trust wallet to use projects that are built on Polygon and we want to support them by completing this integration. As more and more DEX’s integrate with Polygon, we foresee users may want to transfer tokens between networks. Trust wallet supporting swap functionality would simplify the user’s journey significantly; increasing the number of transactions and the user base of Trust Wallet !
