Launch Trust Wallet Marketing Learn2Earn Platform

Proposal Introduction Welcome to the next governance opportunity for Trust Wallet users and TWT holders! Here you can vote on whether the Trust Wallet team should build more opportunities for Trust Wallet users and TWT holders to be part of DeFi infrastructure, experience more mechanics, and allow its users to learn more in order to earn interest that way. Some of the things that we’ll speak about in this proposal have already been carried out by the Trust Wallet team (such as educational videos on YouTube, articles on Trust Wallet blog, partnerships with Bifi Finance and Thorchain, etc). We propose to intensify such activities, thus making Trust Wallet users and TWT holders real players in the crypto ecosystem.

Proposal Request To encourage more people to discover Trust Wallet, we offer to launch a wallet user/token holder offerings platform in Trust Wallet for user acquisition and retention. Making simple and entry-free marketing learn2earn events for TW users and TWT holders with partners/contributors/advertisers. This new platform/dapp will allow people to get educated while safely using the wallet and apps — and get rewarded.

Proposal Details Offer a possibility for Trust Wallet users and TWT holders to discover DeFi instruments. Make Trust Wallet users and TWT holders unique participants in events and part of the crypto economy. Bring Trust Wallet users and TWT holders new partnerships/branding support/earning possibilities/educational tools. Each educational program may consist of text/audio/video/interactive/demo materials in the testing blockchain with faucet tokens. This will allow users to discover DeFi without the risk of losing money. The goal is to launch a program every month.

Proposal Motivation There are many great projects that want to grow their user base on launch. It can be incredibly easy to encourage new projects to make their token distribution through Trust Wallet for its users and token holders by using Trust Wallet wide app distribution and social media network power. Also, Trust Wallet can increase the amount of users that will download iOS and Android apps — and join the marketing platform for interesting projects. Making partnerships with others is a good idea to increase Trust Wallet expansion.

The essential goal of crypto is to eliminate intermediaries and middlemen and allow principal players to connect and interact with each other directly. Trust Wallet is one of the top traffic providers for dapps. This configuration seems misrepresented and unfair. In our vision, the actual position of Trust Wallet should be like any other traffic provider: let’s keep the users in TW and distribute traffic for exterior players under certain circumstances (partnership, advertising, etc). We demand/ask/request/beg Trust Wallet Team to no longer be a traffic provider for other dapps, but to keep its users to itself and to become a marketing platform that will work for benefiting its users and its native token holders. We want to participate in events, earn interest and open the world of Defi with Trust Wallet partners and contributors on a direct basis.

At least once a month Trust Wallet Team should not only accept offers that will come from outside and pick potential partners by high level requirements, but search, find, and attract projects to launch their pools/events/airdrops on TW marketing platform with no limits only for BSC projects, or something.

Selection of projects should be strong and scrupulous, and have mandatory points, including (but not limited to): — audits passed on X different reputable bases — a community with more than X k users — MAU with more than X k — proposals on TWT utility in their project/product — deflationary/fixed max supply — as a warranty, any partner should lock a certain amount of TWT in case of a rugpull (the lock then will be used to reward all the participants)

Benefits for TWT Holders — earning a small amount of tokens from partnerships — a partner may propose to buy back and burn a certain amount of TWT — achieving new crypto experience in Learn-2-Earn Mechanics — getting a chance to be whitelisted and participate in partners’ token sales — etc.

Benefits for TW Users Opportunities to earn interest / get practice/education in demo mode / become a true DeFi user by using Trust Wallet as a demo activity before going real.

Benefits for Trust Wallet — new crypto users onboarding and education through Learn-2-Earn mechanics with partners. Attraction of new users — Trust Wallet as a key platform to use Binance Launchpad games to not only get them and sell them, but also to have immediate access to partners’ tokens usage — play, pay, etc. (on exchanges tokens exist to be bought and sold, in DeFi they can be immediately used) — Trust delegates main work to the partner, no need to spend team resources. — Trust Wallet and partners can share knowledge and experience — a decision can be made by users: Trust Wallet Governance

Whitelisting for existing TW users and TWT holders in the platform activities Can be implemented in different ways: All TW users holding >=100/1000/100000 TWT 14-day average get a chance to participate. All TW users who made 10/100/1000 transactions. All TW users with eth, bnb and sol on their addresses. All TW users who did a screen-shot while accessing mnemonic phrase. All TW users who didn’t use the in-app browser. 1+2+3, and other filters To prevent fraud we should continue to be unpredictable and vary the filters from one launch to another. Plus: every user may participate and get educated with our projects. But only those that conform to certain conditions will get rewarded.

What are the projects E.g. We ourselves decided to follow a trend and tried to find a potential partner for the Trust Wallet marketing platform in the NFT sector on BSC. AirNFT and XPmarket are ready to distribute its tokens and NFTs for Trust Wallet users and TWT holders. We are not allowed to share exact numbers of tokens and NFTs to be released, and we should let both sides collaborate and find a right way for this partnership. With this example we just want to show that TW is a highly appreciated project that others want to collaborate with: partners need traffic, TW wants its users to be loyal and happy. It’s an absolute win-win. Themes to discover — depositing fiat — what is gas, why and how to change it — security (keeping 12 words, do not answer in dm, scam tokens, etc.) — sending transactions in various chains — bridge features — what is slippage — how to add new assets with address contracts — etc.

Associated Projects’ Allocations It’s up to authorized members of the partner/contributor/advertiser side and Trust Wallet core team to figure out the precise mechanics/details for each event.

Mechanics Every partnership event has 2 sections:

1. Learn section, where users can get educated about crypto in a gamified way.
2. Earn section, where users should pass some test (to prove their knowledge and for whitelisted addresses — to get some partner’s tokens).

One of possible procedures

1. Announcing a partnership with an L2E event (let’s say: Trust Wallet X AirNFT).
2. Snapshot condition: To have a chance to participate, TW users should have made a screenshot of their mnemonic phrase prior to the launch of the event. Optional (to fight abusing and cut bots): a. We can allow one user per IP. b. The address should have some coins/tokens on depo. c. There could also be a tier system where users should hold some TWT (100 tokens, >1000 TWT, >10 k TWT, >100 k TWT), but even the 10-fold differences in asset volume should give about 20% difference in drop allocation.)
3. User enters the app and connects his wallet. If they’re eligible (see p. 2), they get access to a lesson about security in crypto. If not, they get a notification that they can attend the lesson and pass the test, but they won’t be rewarded for that.
4. After the lesson the user should fill out a test form.
5. First thousand/million/billion who have answered more than 50% of questions (and eligible on the snapshot) got a partnership airdrop from AirNFT.
6. In the next event the snapshot condition should be changed.

Additional info Test questions should be randomized in order, and in points of possible answers, and in points of possible questions, and in their quantity as well (the whole test will have 30 questions, but each user should answer a randomly selected ten, adding, denying and confirming answers in both versions of the same question): Example: All of a sudden you receive an airdrop of some unknown tokens to your address. You check the price, and see that they cost more than $100 k. What should you do next? A. I’m lucky! I will immediately sell them. B. I'm an honest guy/girl, I should burn them. C. It’s a scam, even if it has value. I won’t touch it. The second version of the same question: «What should you not do next?» with the same answers.

Next steps As Trust Wallet community members, we — the proposers, being active Trust Wallet community members — believe in decentralization, have a vision to bring mass adoption to crypto. We are back and front developers, designers, copywriters, accountants, data-scientists, and managers. Of course, Trust Wallet Team may just take this idea and build the platform on its own. But if needed, we have enough expertise to be involved in building this kind of platform/dapp if TW team would like to collaborate with its community. The key thing is to launch it under any conditions.
