Handling Phone Number and Ownership Wallet Changes in Ultimate Digits

We propose the introduction of a suite of advanced security and privacy mechanisms for managing the association between users' real-world mobile numbers, virtual Ethereum mobile numbers, and their crypto wallets via Ultimate Digits.

Our commitment to ensuring user privacy, security, and seamless experience underpins this proposal. The core of our proposal revolves around the following mechanisms:

1. Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Chain of Custody: By leveraging zk-SNARK and zk-STARK protocols, we propose a method to confirm changes to mobile numbers and the transfer of virtual number NFTs without revealing any sensitive information. These proofs, once generated, will be cryptographically hashed and recorded on a dedicated Chain of Custody ledger, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of user data.

2. Time-Lock: To further secure the process of changing mobile numbers and transferring NFTs, we propose the implementation of a time-lock mechanism. This will place any change request or NFT transfer in a pending state for a predetermined period (72 hours), adding a layer of security and verification.

3. Notifications: Utilizing Ethereum's event logging functionality, our system will emit events for queued changes or transfers, enabling our internal service to promptly notify users through the Ultimate Digits apps. This ensures transparency and keeps users informed at every step.

4. Decentralized Reporting: To uphold the integrity of our system, nodes running the Ultimate Digits protocol will continually monitor the Chain of Custody. Any detected discrepancies or attempts at fraud will trigger network alerts, safeguarding against unauthorized transactions and maintaining the uniqueness and security of NFTs.
