UMA-GYSR Delegator Pool

Voting ended over 2 years agoFailed

The primary motivation behind this proposal is to empower small UMA token holders to engage in securing UMA’s Optimistic Oracle by enticing them to vote. This is currently perceived by small holders as being too cumbersome and expensive. Capturing this group has the potential to widen the appeal of UMA tokens being held more widely thus broadening the voter base.

We therefore want to build a delegator pool where multiple holders can deposit their small holdings, receive constant rewards and delegate their vote to a trusted third party. We will be building a proxy voting router (smart contract) that will manage all the interactions between a GYSR staking pool and UMAs voter dApp (deposits, rewards, withdrawals, fees etc.). An initial simple front-end will be built to test the system.

This proposal seeks a confirmation on the proposed roadmap and budgeting by the UMA Community, and delegating Risk Labs the decision making power over the completion of the milestones.

Funding Request 24,000.00 USD (all quoted USD payable in UMA valued at tx date)

Payable 12,000.00 USD, at the start of the project 12,000.00 USD, after satisfactorily completed milestones 5,000.00K to 15,000,00 USD for contract audit (for details see proposal)

The UMA to be distributed to the SuperUMAn multi-sig: 0xc75adbf2a5a6a51302c1c7cc789366ed16e1e0f3
