Introduction

CryptoSapiens is on a mission to build the largest onchain creator network and onboard 1 million creators into Web3. We believe that by fostering education, collaboration, and access to funding, we can empower a new generation of creators to thrive in the decentralized ecosystem. Our initiatives aim to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3, equipping creators with the tools and knowledge to leverage onchain technologies effectively.

Summary

We are seeking 2 ETH in funding from Unlock Protocol DAO to support the Onchain Creator Summit, an event designed to bring together leading Web3 creators, builders, and storytellers. This funding will cover food, beverages and logistics for the event. In exchange, Unlock Protocol will receive branding opportunities across event collateral, digital marketing, and our website. Plus an opportunity to speak about onchain memberships.

About Onchain Creator Summit

Onchain Creator Summit is a hub for content creators, artists, and builders to collaborate, learn, and expand their impact onchain. Hosted at ETHDenver, the event will feature:

• Networking and Coffee: A dedicated time for creators and builders to connect in a relaxed setting over food and drinks.
• Roundtable Discussions: Sessions led by experienced creators and Web3 thought leaders.

Budget Breakdown

Total Ask: 5,600 USDC (2 ETH) – allocated as follows:

• Food & Beverages (1,100 USDC): Covering high-quality catering for the Networking & Coffee session.
• Event Logistics (4,500 USDC): Covers ticketing, security, AV equipment, seating and other accommodations necessary to ensure a seamless experience and making it free for all interested creators to attend.

Risks

Risks usually associated with funding irl events are brand dilution, audience misalignment, and low ROI. To remediate this, we have vetted all participants to ensure they are aligned to a common mission and have targeted a high-value audience that is engaged and active in the space our sponsors operate. We are maintaining a focus on content creators, builders, and sustainable communities, avoiding discussions centered on speculative trading. To increase the ROI of our sponsors, we have invited them to engage directly with the audience through a series of roundtable discussions. The event will be recorded and will provide assets for marketing re-engagement after the event.

Our Experience

CryptoSapiens has extensive experience hosting IRL events that bring together Web3 creators and communities. In 2024, we successfully hosted events at:

These events attracted hundreds of attendees, fostering meaningful connections and conversations within the Web3 space.
