Unlock DAO Lead Steward Stella Achenbach reached out to me a while ago when she first designed the organizational and role structure system for the DAO. She inquired about role-related artworks that would make the roles and their responsibilities seem more accessible and personable. After some calls and emails back and forth with Stella, we narrowed down the brief, and I offered two pricing tiers.
My name is LEAH IBRAHIM SAMS, and I am a professional illustrator, artist, and founder of Power of Women. Check out further background information about me here: https://www.powerofwomen.io/about
I would like to help the DAO bring visual identities to each of their roles within their organizational structure () by creating individual artworks for each role. These roles include Navigator, Unlock Stewards (including different branches), Unlock Cabin Crew, Unlock Ambassadors (including three different levels), Unlock Foundation and Unlock Labs. As part of this process, any individual elements that are part of each artwork will be available as separate visual assets to be used for marketing purposes.
Bringing visual interest can make the DAO and its organizational structure more personable. A visual identity for each role can also make the role system easier to understand for newcomers. A visual representation of the role system may also help with branding and marketing purposes and make feel consistent contributions more tangible. Additionally the assets created can be repurposed for other use cases in the marketing strategies of the DAO.
Art is subjective. With many members making up the DAO, it can be challenging to cohesively decide on a visual direction if there are a few differing opinions. I suggest the DAO Marketing Team and Lead Steward take on the primary feedback loop. Any length of time it takes to make a decision and provide feedback will impact the timeline and the project momentum significantly.
The timeline depends on how clear the project brief is, how quickly I receive feedback from the DAO at key stages, and how many redesigns are involved in the process. At best, this could take 3 weeks with feedback/ approval from the DAO at the Design Research stage, Initial Sketch stage, Artwork Prototype stage, and Final Approval stage. If the process sees challenges or feedback delays, the project could take up to 6 weeks or more. At the final stage of the project, I will provide a shared folder of high-resolution artworks, any additional visual assets as PNG files, and any additional information about the artworks and assets.
