Unlock protocol DAO is evolving and growing at an unprecedented pace, several activities and initiatives emerge that require technical expertise for execution. Since the Unlock Protocol Labs consists of a small team who have their hands full with shipping features and updates for the protocol on an almost weekly basis, they have limited bandwidth to focus on other technical needs of the DAO. This necessitates the role of the liaison engineer.
The role of the Liason Engineer focuses on driving innovation and working on technical development for DAO-related projects and in close collaboration with the Unlock Labs team.
I’ve been a consistently active contributor to the Unlock Protocol since 2022 when I joined the DAO. During that time I have built different prototypes implementing the protocol, taken on several bounties, and submitted multiple PRs (pull requests) to demonstrate my understanding of the Protocol and technical competence. My commitment and dedication to the long-term success of Unlock Protocol evident from my track record and contributions make me a suitable candidate for this role.
To assess my performance and impact in this role, key performance indicators (KPIs) can be established, including:
In recognition of the time and effort required to fulfill this role effectively, I propose a compensation of 200 UDT per month for 6 months after which the terms and performance may be reviewed and (or) renewed. Since the purpose of UDT is intended for governance rights and not necessarily as payment I would require an additional liquid form of compensation for the role and propose an additional $1000 USDC (or token equivalent) per DAO-initiative implemented. This compensation aligns with the value provided and ensures fair remuneration for the responsibilities undertaken. I will receive both (when applicable) at the end of the month to this wallet: 0xCA7632327567796e51920F6b16373e92c7823854
