IP-9: Replacing Members of the Multi-Sig

Voting ended almost 4 years agoSucceeded

Summary:

Need for a dedicated and active multi-sig team that includes members with a vested interest in the success of Alpha DAO.

Details:

Our multi-sig team is currently made up of 7 members: @silversurfer @WizardPoet @secondstate @Garrette @dtoc @ShortsHoward @Momentus

As of late, it has been relatively hard to get 4 of 7 members needed to perform transactions via the multi-sig (in a timely manner). This is due to a multitude of reasons but at the core of the issue is a lack of agency/willingness in confirming these transactions from some of the multi-sig members. Due to this, we must remove two members from the multi-sig and instate two new members to remedy this agency issue. Do not take this as a lack of confidence in the members I am proposing to remove.

Removing: @dtoc @ShortsHoward

Reasoning: Dtoc is a lead at MEME and has expressed that they haven’t been able to keep up on specific proposals surrounding each transaction and a lack of adequate time to research before confirming. ShortsHoward has also left the discord and has been slowly been wanting his role spun down within the DAO/multi-sig functions.

Instate: @Crypto Farmer - Was crucial in launching the current .alpha token with their design and coding contributions as a member of DUO. @AlexTheDegen - Alex has been the most vocal member within the DAO during every proposal that has been put forth to our governance structures. Alex has put forth many great ideas and has pushed our proposals in many ways that are needed.

Specification:

Remove Dtoc & ShortsHoward from the multi-sig team.

Instate Crypto Farmer & Alex The Degen on the multi-sig.
