uwuDAO Derivative Collection

Reasoning: uwudao needs some form of income or else we'll quickly deplete the funds and no longer be able to offer benefits to uwu holders.

Solution: leverage one of the strongest and unique aspects of uwucrew, the amazing artists! We need a solution that will benefit all involved. The thought is to have an open application where artists submit their name, existing work, initial openings, anticipated frequency, and price for uwu derivative work. The community will then have a snapshot vote where they select 5-10 artists to create cohort 0. uwudao will then create an opensea collection, uwudao. That collection will consist of cohort 0s work which can be lewd or clean derivatives of uwus, it'll be up to the NFT purchaser and artist. The artist would receive their standard payout and an additional .1E would be received on the initial purchase for uwudao. uwudao and artists would share the 2.5% royalties.

Technical Background: Once cohort 0 is voted in, uwudao creates blank nfts with the artists name and their price (based on information in the proposal). Once the NFT is purchased, it can be redeemed by working with the artist. Once the derivative is created, it is sent to uwudao, uwudao mints it and sends it to the purchaser. We'll use collab.land to verify they hold both an uwu and the uwudao collection nft. Once cleared, they will join the private discord channel to work with the selected artist. The derivative will only be sent to the address holding that uwu, no exceptions, to ensure no one uses your precious uwu.

Financial: .04E for gas would cover delivery to the NFT purchaser and payment to the artist for a profit of .06E to uwudao per new mint. The artist sets their own price and receives everything else. 2.5% Royalties would be shared evenly between uwudao and the cohort. Artists don't worry about gas as it's handled by uwudao.

Why would Artists want to collab: centralizing derivative art and having a large community 3.5k have all eyes on 5-10 would max out their work load. Artists receive the same amount per drawing but are officially apart of the uwudao collection. Royalties are not typical for derivative work but we'll look to encourage this by having sporadic raffles of uwus which comes with the benefits of uwu alpha channel and wls. There is no difference in what artists are paid, it should just increase work and awareness. The cohort will always be shown love and awareness by uwudao twitter and the community.

Next steps: If voted yes, we would work to send out the artist application forms and once a sufficient amount are received, create the selection vote.

If successful: We have an official collection for uwu derivative work, are able to support artists, able to make it easier for uwu holders who seek derivative work, and generate a form of income for the uwudao. Depending on the results of the artists application and activity of the uwu community, it'll be straight-forward to scale appropriately with future cohorts. uwu
