uwuDAO Foundation Collection

Intro

Based off the initial idea from our community member Shinjurou, this proposal aims to launch a Foundation profile for the uwuDAO. The purpose of this collection is to give our wonderful community of artists access to a desirable foundation collector base when creating uwucrew derivatives. To make the profile more appealing and cohesive a total of 4 collections will be created per year based on themes chosen by the community, another benefit of themes is to challenge the artists to draw out of their comfort zone, however there is no obligation to participate in every collection.

Rules

Only artists that hold an uwucrew NFT, or artists invited by the uwuDAO to participate in the Foundation collection may submit work. Submissions will be lightly screened to make sure they fit within the collection theme and that it is original work. Furthermore in order to attract quality submissions and keep exposure fair for all artists who participate, artists are allowed 1 submission per collection, ie a maximum of 4 submissions per year.

Artists are allowed to draw any uwucrew NFT they own, any uwucrew NFT from "The Crew", a collection of 25(& growing) team-owned uwus with CC0 licensing, plus some uwus volunteered by community members (exact details in discord). All work of course must be original.

Financials

Foundation works on a percentage split of the final bid price, therefore I propose the following split to start the collection:

• 5% uwuDAO
• 95% artist

There will be no buy it now price and each piece will be listed to start at 0.2e. uwuDAO will pay all the gas fees for creating collections and minting each individual piece. Splits and the base starting price can be voted on again in future by the community if they so wish.
