Ring Relief Fund

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

Hello ValiFiers,

We have started working on the long-awaited lottery! As stated in our whitepaper, 10% of the weekly prize pool will be destined to the RING relief fund for users to claim based on the number of nodes they had invested in. The idea was to have the RING relief fund running for a few weeks/months and from then on, that % allocation of the lottery prize would reward and be claimed by Legendary Yield-Key owners.

We have been monitoring the discord and have realized that many of our investors are having mixed feelings about the Ring Relief Fund. Many wish to cancel it. Our community members claim that they have been invested in ValiFi for a long time and that RING members are only looking for compensation to get out.

Our team has always taken into account our community. Looking out for those invested in the ValiFi ecosystem is our number one priority.

We would like to honor our word and continue with the Ring Relief Form as it is the right thing to do, and is something we promised at the start.

It is important to note that as time goes on, critical decisions need to be made which must benefit ValiFi and the longevity of the protocol. Our community has a strong opinion on this matter. We would like to host a vote to be able to have an accurate representation on where our community stands.

Should we continue and execute the Ring Relief Fund?

1. Yes, continue with Ring Relief Fund

2. No, just reward directly LYK holders

Pros of having relief: Reward those affected (it's a way of giving back to those scammed) Maintain and execute on our promises.

Implications: Extra complexity and longer-development time, delays lottery revenue share to LYK holders.

External Implications: Backlash from Ring victims.
