CertiK Audit

As you all know we are preparing to launch VaporDex. We are excited as this will be the first core product in the VaporFi ecosystem (aside from our nodes)! Our mission is to bring an array of products to position ourselves as disruptors to the traditional finance industry. VaporDex is our first opportunity to do so.

We want to take any and all measures to ensure that this launch go as smoothly and efficient as possible – especially to protect the community. In that regard, we are proposing to conduct a CertiK audit on all contracts ready for deployment. Although more costly than other companies, we feel that it is in the community’s best interest to obtain the most reliable and secure auditing service.

The cost of a CertiK audit is $50K, definitely costly, but CertiK is the name people look for when an audit is performed. They’re the industry leader and have had the best reputation for years.

There will be 3 phases of submissions to CertiK:

Phase 1: DEX contracts  

Phase 2: Farming and Staking contracts 

Phase 3: Launchpad contracts 

The time frame for audit completion will take approximately 2-4 weeks once each contract phase is submitted. Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 contracts are complete and ready to be submitted, while Phase 3 contracts are in development.

As you know, our distribution to team pool has been off for nearly 3 months. We’ve continued to pay mods, servers, and a blockchain team to build VaporDex out of this pool. The pool is currently at $367K USDC and 7,787 AVAX ($555K at time of writing this). We’d like to maintain this pool over $500K so we can continue to build without adding “maintenance fees” like other protocols.

So, we’re proposing that while AVAX is low, we’ll pay for the audit out of our team pool but would like to be reimbursed from the treasury when Avax rises again.
