Governance Proposal: Realigning VestaDAO's Educational Focus and Resource Allocation

Purpose

This proposal seeks to realign VestaDAO’s educational and resource priorities to better align with the preferences of our home blockchain, Metis, and to enhance the impact of our initiatives. Specifically, the purposes are:

1. To formally archive the web3 basics articles and relocate them to the new VestaDAO website.
2. To allocate resources to project reviews and research.
3. To align the DAO’s focus with Metis’s preferences for project/dapp-specific education.
4. To allocate resources toward building proper dapps/tools that support users of the Metis ecosystem.

Proposed Actions

1. Archiving Web3 Basics Articles:

   • Relocate all existing web3 basics articles to the new VestaDAO website.
   • Ensure the articles remain accessible as an archive but are no longer a focus of the site or included in the DAO’s pitch.

2. Prioritizing Project/Dapp-Specific Research:

   • Shift the focus of educational content toward project and dapp-specific topics relevant to the Metis ecosystem.
   • Allocate resources to creating high-quality research and reviews that engage the Metis community.

3. Resource Allocation for Dapps/Tools:

   • Dedicate a portion of VestaDAO’s resources to building proper dapps and tools for Metis users, ensuring the DAO contributes directly to the ecosystem’s growth.

4. Removing Web3 Basics from Focus:

   • Reorganize the website and communications to emphasize project/dapp-specific content and tools.
   • Cease allocating time or funds to updating or expanding the web3 basics archive.
