Context: Prof. Johannes Reynisson, a leading expert in Medicinal Chemistry from Keele University, has been a dedicated supporter of the VITA-FAST project. His pro-bono contributions have been invaluable in advancing our project goals. However, with Keele University pushing for proper compensation for his commitment, we now have an opportunity to officially secure a fraction of his time for a negotiated price of £29,800.

Proposal Details: Financial Agreement: Allocate £29,800 from the VITA-FAST treasury to compensate Keele University for 10% of Prof. Johannes Reynisson's time dedicated to our project over the stipulated time frame.

Value Proposition: Prof. Reynisson's contribution surpasses merely monetary calculations. His expertise and dedication have added significant value to the VITA-FAST project. The negotiated price of £29,800, facilitated by Matt Abbott from Newcastle TTO, is 40% less than the initial ask of £50,000. On a financial comparative basis, Prof. Reynisson's engagement costs only 60% of professional medicinal chemists in the market.

Funding Source: The funds will be appropriated from the existing VITA-FAST treasury. No external fundraising is required.

IP Rights: VITA-FAST will retain all Intellectual Property rights stemming from Prof. Reynisson's contributions, ensuring long-term benefits for our project.

Consultation Framework: While Prof. Reynisson will be our primary expert in medicinal chemistry, we will maintain our strategy of consulting outside experts for unbiased second opinions. Recommendation:
