VITA-FAST Project Lead

We propose to elect a Project Lead for the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that governs the Discovering Novel Autophagy Activators IP-NFT, led by Viktor Korolchuk. The selected candidate must demonstrate a robust understanding of early stage drug discovery, small molecule screening, fundraising, stakeholder management, and cryptocurrency operations, given the nature of the project.

The key responsibilities of the Project Lead will include:

Serving as a communication conduit between the community and Viktor Korolchuk, where they will channel questions from the community to Viktor and subsequently relay the responses back to the community.

Engaging the community like shareholders, fostering excitement and a sense of ownership in them towards the project.

Providing strategic guidance to Viktor on the experimental strategy.

Formulating a subsequent fundraising strategy when the need arises, likely in a few months, and continuing to raise funds through the sale of project fractions.

Importantly, the Project Lead will have access to confidential data. Consequently, they will be required to disclose their identity (doxxing), sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and ensure the efficient passage of non-confidential information to the community without jeopardizing proprietary information. This careful balance will enable the community to provide input while maintaining the project's confidentiality.

Proposing bounties to be completed for adding value to the project. This can include recommendations on experimental strategy, filing IP, or computational analyses on the data from the project.

Facilitating the creation of working groups, and onboarding leads for working groups and squads for VITA-FAST.

Nominees include: Benji Leibowitz: Benji has little drug development experience, but is an experienced computational biologist and biotech investor. He currently works on the product team at Molecule, coordinated the VITA-FAST fundraise and distribution of VITA-FAST tokens, and remains committed to seeing the project through to success. He has been nominated by the VitaDAO builder squad.

In terms of compensation, the Project Lead will receive 0.2% of the total supply of VITA-FAST tokens in the project for each month of service, which will unlock after a one-year period. Importantly, this Project Lead can be replaced at any time via a subsequent governance proposal, and their position and compensation is contingent upon active, continued support by the community.

This proposal ensures that our governance structure aligns with the interests of the community, the project, and its stakeholders, ensuring successful project execution and accountability. In the interest of maintaining a dynamic and responsive governance structure, the proposal also includes a provision for offboarding the Project Lead if deemed necessary by the VITA-FAST token holders. This process will be initiated by a proposal requiring a simple majority vote from the token holders.
