VRNAP-2 Allocation of $100k Worth of ETH for Experiments
We propose the release of the first 100,000 USD worth of ETH from the VitaRNA treasury in support of the experimental plan as outlined in the VITARNA Whitepaper .
Experiment Description
As outlined in the Whitepaper, the next steps included finalising the experimental system to screen the variants identified in the original project. This system will allow us to determine the effectiveness of the various design alterations and select candidates with the desired characteristics. This will be performed in collaboration with a leading CRO.
Artan Bio and Dr. Torres will work to validate the lead constructs in animal models that would serve as the preclinical data to support further development and lead candidate selection.
Budget Breakdown
The project is now moving into a development pipeline process with upfront work to prepare for in vivo proof of concept studies with a number of front-loaded and administrative costs.
From the Whitepaper budget, specifically:
Expected Outcomes
AAV drug candidate(s) for testing in mice.
If positive data is achieved in the appropriate animal models, Artan Bio will work with CDMOs on scalability and manufacturing to support IND-enabling studies.
This proposal ensures that allocated funds are used efficiently and effectively, driving forward our scientific goals while maintaining transparency and accountability to the community:
-
Final Report: A comprehensive report will be provided at the end of the experiment, detailing progress, results, and financial expenditures.
-
Token-Gated Access: VitaRNA token holders will have exclusive access to the final report and any detailed findings, ensuring that community members are directly informed and involved.
