600K AST is requested over 2-months for critical fixes, thorough QA, and user experience improvements. The team is initially composed of AirSwap contributors jean-pierre (development) and japlet (design). Our mandate is as follows:
- Critical software fixes in production applications
- Perform and strengthen QA and testing processes
- Deliver UI/UX improvements in an upcoming release
Analysis
Recent feedback from AirSwap users shows that our DEX app still has session-breaking bugs that impact trading. Beyond stability, there is clear room to improve overall usability and UX. To grow the AirSwap protocol and reach its full potential, we must first ensure that the app is stable, strengthen QA, and then finally deliver improvements so that any type of user can confidently utilize AirSwap.
Goals & Actions
We will proceed through the following steps to:
- Triage and fix critical bugs and prioritize session-breaking issues to restore trust
- Establish a robust QA plan with structured user testing to improve long-term stability
- Set up loop to collect, synthesize, and report insights for ongoing product refinement
- Convert insights into a prioritized backlog of fixes and improvements by impact
- Prototype prioritized items in Figma to validate and refine UX before build
- Improve core usability to smooth onboarding and boost retention
- Polish and stabilize the UI to enable easier integrations and ecosystem growth
- Raise overall reliability and UX quality to differentiate AirSwap among other DEXs
Costs
We will submit a withdrawal request each month for 300k AST to be transferred to the Ops Safe (ops.airswap.eth) and distributed via Coordinape.
