Proposal for upgrading FAM's peg mechanics

Launching in unfavorable market conditions, $FAM's first 2 weeks have been a rigorous stress test. This battle testing had its upside though, as the team was working hard on improving key metrics that should help $FAM keep its peg in harsh conditions. And we are confident we nailed it!

Here is what we are proposing:

• 10% of the total protocol emissions need to be redirected to $FAM. This percentage will be slowly reduced, according to the inflation rate, with the advance of time.

• Redeploy the $FAM contract to institute these changes.

If the proposal is accepted the migration will start in 48 hours due to our timelocks.

The migration process is estimated to take anywhere between 1 and 6 hours. During that time (1-6 hours), we ask users not to redeem any $FAM tokens because there’s a possibility for them of loosing their funds.

We will announce the beginning and end of the migration.

Once it’s completed we expect to see a more battle hardened $FAM that’s resistant to market turbulence.
