In addition to cryptocurrencies and art/PFP NFTs, another fascinating blockchain technology is domain NFTs, or web3, the internet on the blockchain, the internet of the future.

Web3 is already here and will continue to grow as more individuals and orgs seek a decentralized, censorship-resistant internet and also seek a low, one-time payment for a domain name rather than an annual subscription fee. With 5 billion users of the traditional internet, web 3 domains, data, and search represent massive market opportunities. I don't have a prognosis on adoption speed, but the transformation is happening.

There are three areas of web3 I'm researching: (1) NFT domains on the blockchain (that you control and hold in your digital wallet), (2) Chainlink, and (3) The Graph.

Everything before was the context for GRT. GRT is a cryptocurrency that allows users to index and query data on the blockchain. GRT can search and pull data from ANY blockchain. Again, there are 5 billion users of the traditional internet. As more and more onboard to web3 and as corporations and governments begin to use GRT to analyze blockchain data, GRT will grow in value.
