$LOOKS Token Investment - Active & Passive Investment

From ElCryptoChado, biggest $LOOKS fanboi since Jan 10th 2022.

Investment: 1ETH in $LOOKS (~900 tokens) Risk: Low Horizon: 2months. Exit Strategy: If before the 60 day investment period $LOOKS hits $10, sell for profits.

Current Price of $LOOKS: $3.45 on Feb 10th 2:20pm EST.

Thesis: NFTs are only going to get bigger in 2022 and platforms like OpenSea will continue generating mass profits from it. However, OpenSea is buggy, has already had multiple outages and even insider trading from head of Product.

Here comes Looksrare.org (and their token $LOOKS), a direct competitor for OpenSea for ETH based NFTs. Why is Looksrare.org interesting?

• Launched recently and already outperforms OpenSea in volume with 20x fewer users.
• Lower fee structure drives a ton more postings and therefore drives more buyers as well (solving the issue of a 2-sided marketplace)
• Sellers and Buyers get rewarded in LOOKS and WETH (wrapped ETH) for transacting on Looksrare which is one of the core principles of Web3.
• You can stake your LOOKS with a current APR of 250% (90% in LOOKS and 160% in WETH) that compounds every 12 seconds.

$LOOKS started trading at $2 on January 10th, jumped to $7 on January 20th and is now at $3.5, hovering between $3 and $5. I believe that as the platform gets more and more adoption, the price of the token will continue to rise.

At current prices, we would purchase 900 $LOOKS Token that we would immediately stake.

At current APR of 250%% investment will be (numbers are estimates and based on a fix price of $3.5/LOOKS and $3,100/WETH):

• Day 0: 900 $LOOKS = $3,100
• Day 30: 990 $LOOKS + 0.45 WETH = $4,800
• Day 60: 1100 $LOOKS + 1 WETH = $6950

Risks? Because any investment has risks associated, it is important for me to share them with you:

1. Looks has gotten a lot of traction because of wash trading (the reward mechanism incentivized wash trading to earn Looks). Rewards in Looks 1/2 every 30 days so we might see a sharp drop in Looks trading numbers
2. the price of Looks can fall below $3.50 and therefore we have an associated risk with it. However, with current numbers, the price of Looks would need to drop at ~$1.6/$looks to lose $ effectively at the end of the 60 day investment window.
