I propose we issue a stock buyback.
What is a stock buyback? Stock buybacks refer to the repurchasing of shares of stock by the company that issued them. A buyback occurs when the issuing company pays shareholders the market value per share and re-absorbs that portion of its own previously distributed among public and private investors. With stock buybacks, aka share buybacks, the company can purchase the stock on the open market or from its shareholders directly. In recent decades, share buybacks have overtaken dividends as a preferred way to return cash to shareholders.
Why should we issue a stock buyback? Wall Street Chads are undervalued.
Only 185/3333 of all Chads are being sold on the open market, and one hundred twenty-eight of these listings are under 1ETH. Buying back the undervalued Chads and reselling them for 1ETH will immediately increase the floor price and help keep the floor price high in the future. Future investors will not want to lose money on their investments and would be incentivized to sell above 1ETH.
What’s the benefit of a higher floor price? Higher royalties on sales. With higher floor prices come higher royalties. WallStreetChads have declared royalties of 5% on secondary markets, and the royalties alone on 128ETH are currently $16,200.704. We will put these funds to use in our investment portfolio, which in turn, will generate more passive income for Chad holders.
Paper hands begone! I believe that Chads listed below 1ETH are representative of paper hands. Buying up these chads and relisting for 1ETH ensures we only attract investors who believe in our platform.
What do we do with the profits? As with all proposals, we will deposit 50% to the investment pool, 30% to the treasury, and 20% of profits will be redistributed to all Chad holders through monthly dividends.
Can this proposal fail? We are fully minted, have been featured in magazines worldwide, and the transaction rate on Chads is increasing daily. I don’t believe the floor price will be any lower than it currently is. We can only lose money on this proposal if the Wall Street Chad founders themselves relist the Chads below the buyback price. Such a scenario would never happen; our founders are firm believers in our community.
Let’s invest in ourselves.
Max allotment of funds’ 1 ETH.’
Buy date: When the proposal is accepted. Sell-by date: 6 months listing for each Chad purchased.
