Wayfinder Foundation and Parallel Studio Aftermath Pack Drop Caching Proposal

Parallel Studios, ahead of their upcoming new expansion, Aftermath, are excited to announce a new proposal for both the Wayfinder and Parallel TCG communities.

It is proposed that 70% of the PRIME collected in the next Aftermath Expansion Pack Drop (November 25th, 2024) will be committed to the Wayfinder Caching program with ALL claimable PROMPT rewards to be distributed only to the participants of the Aftermath Pack Drop.

Implementation Details

• Wayfinder Foundation creates a new caching smart contract that will only accept PRIME from Aftermath Pack Drop sales.

• Parallel Studios will allocate 50% of the PRIME from Aftermath Pack Drop sales to be cached in this new smart contract for the maximum remaining duration of the caching program.

• At the end of the caching period Aftermath participants will be able to claim PROMPT rewards according to the standard PROMPT distribution schedule. Rewards will be scaled accordingly to level of participation in the Pack Drop.

• The PROMPT allocated to the scores earned from this new caching contract will come from the same 40% community pool. (Scores will be earned at a lower modifier than would be available in our existing caching program at the time of this vote).

Benefits to the Wayfinder Ecosystem

• Prime in Wayfinder caching will continue to increase.

• Onboarding a new wave of community members who have participated in Aftermath Pack Drop. -- More participants for decentralized governance of the Wayfinder protocol. -- More diverse community to help with pre-launch and launch activities of the Wayfinder protocol.

Ratification of this vote in the affirmative would solidify the second official collaboration between the Wayfinder Foundation and other aligned projects. The first collaboration of course being our wildly successful partnership with the Echelon Foundation, where together we created a program users have committed 40% of the circulating supply of PRIME to support the future Wayfinder and PROMPT ecosystems.
