As we rocket through our epic token migration, there comes a time when we must decide: when is enough, enough? That’s right, it’s time to set a threshold for when we declare the migration phase complete, seal off the vault, and charge ahead to the future!
Closing the migration isn’t just about picking a number. It's about ensuring we've moved enough of our token supply to the new contract to support a healthy and robust liquidity pool (LP) for our future endeavors. According to our techno-wizards, migrating around 300-400k tokens should let us siphon nearly all the ETH from the old LP—sweet!
But, life in the Weirdo lane isn't just about hitting numbers; it's about making sure as many of our fellow Weirdos as possible have the chance to join us in the new age. So, how do we balance this? We set a threshold for migrated tokens, and once we hit it, we keep the portal open for just a smidge longer (specifically, 42 hours of Weirdo time) before we lock it down and move on to airdropping the stragglers.
Once we hit the chosen threshold, or after 4 weeks (whichever comes first), we'll keep the migration gate open for another 42 hours—giving last-minute migrants a final chance to leap aboard. After that, it’s time to close the gates, extract the ETH from the legacy LP, and airdrop what’s due to the latecomers.
Connect your wallet on WeirDAO, and rank by preference the threshold that you think strikes the perfect balance between moving forward and leaving no Weirdo behind.
Your vote will determine when we officially end the migration and start the next chapter. It's about setting us up for success while making sure we’re as inclusive as possible. So, pick the threshold that feels right, and let’s make sure our launch into the new Weirdo era is as powerful as possible!
Weirdos, your vote isn’t just a click; it’s a declaration of how we stride into our future. Make it count!
