Proposal: Vote on Zora Rewards Allocation - Part 1

Voting ended 11 months agoSucceeded

Hey Weirdos!

We’ve been rocking the Zora scene with our epic art drops. As you know, every time we publish a creation, a token is born on Base—with 99% going into an LP and 1% landing in our laps. As these tokens trade, fees roll in, giving us ETH (from buys) and extra tokens (from sells). Now it’s time to decide how best to use these funds to boost our art, our community, and our overall Weirdo power.

TL;DR:
We need your vote on two key points:

  1. What to do with the ETH from Zora fees.
  2. How to handle the extra Zora tokens (beyond our initial 1%).

There will be 2 votes, here is the first one (snapshot only allows 1 vote per proposal)

Part 1: What Do We Do With the ETH?

Choose one of the following options:

  • Option A: Use the ETH to buy more art and fund artists so we can drop even more epic creations.
  • Option B: Use the ETH to buy WEIRDO tokens and then burn them, tightening our supply.
  • Option C: Spend the ETH on buying art from other creators on Zora to show love for the broader Base community.
  • Option D: Add the ETH to the Weirdo treasury to fund various projects (art, marketing, development, etc.).

Your vote will shape our strategy on Zora and help us amplify our art and community presence. Let’s harness these rewards to elevate Weirdo to even greater heights while keeping it as weird as ever!

Get your weird self to the WeirDAO voting portal, cast your votes, and let’s decide our future together.

Stay weird, stay creative, and keep pushing the boundaries!
