Items compartmentalization philosophy on differnt channels

Would you divide your purchasing items first and buy them on different channels?

For example, you'd buy items which amount >10k in the offline stores and which below that amount on the online platforms like ebay or amazon?

Or some may category items using 'category' rather than amount of price. Like clothes/furniture/snacks....
