Hey guys, it’s @dianeca here! I’ve been the DAO’s trial marketer for 2 weeks now and would love to keep working with y’all.
I’m proposing a 1 ETH payment to continue marketing for the next month. As of now, WizardsDAO makes at least 1 ETH a day on auctions. If I am able to raise the average Wizard sale by just 0.1, that would mean an extra 15 ETH per month for the DAO. (0.1 * 5 * 30 = 15)
What I’ve Done During the 2 Week Trial Period:
- Increased WizardsDAO Twitter to 6k followers
- Launched Apprentices Twitter at the beginning of the month and grew account to 580 followers
- Restructured Wizards’ marketing strategy to focus on growing community +
- Wrote + planned daily tweets for Wizards and Apprentices Twitter accounts with Hootsuite
- Focus on sharing the DAO’s proposals and daily updates instead of only auction-centric tweets
- Relaunched WizardsDAO Instagram
- Created a long-term marketing plan that focuses on building community and awareness of WizardsDAO (more details below)
What I’m Planning on Doing if the Proposal Passes: full-time marketing to expand and build a solid WizardsDAO community! Here’s how.
- Continue building WizardsDAO and Apprentices Twitter accounts + WizardsDAO Instagram
- Ideate and plan Tweets + giveaways + Twitter drops
- Engage community through art contests, memes, etc.
- Focus on steady, organic growth and engagement posts that will translate to raising auction prices + interest instead of buying promos or followers
- Work towards securing collabs (with another CC0 community, Twitter influencer, or other NFT project) within the next month
- possible candidates include Cryptoadz, Crypto Cannabis Club (idea creds to @Nofel), Tollan Worlds, etc.
- Incentivize people to join Discord + make it more engaging for newcomers
- Expand to in-person marketing initiatives within the next two months
- Examples:
- Throw out Wizard hat stickers at parties and post footage
- Conduct publicity stunts such as donating to a zoo to name a monkey after the DAO (idea creds to @monkey and Sorbs)
- Plan our first in-person Wizards event/ party
I’m always open to any help/ feedback on marketing strategies and ideas. Thanks!
