This is a proposal to ratify the official membership of Water & Music’s Core Team.
W&M defines our Core Team as the group of people tasked with:
Our current Core Team membership includes:
- Cherie Hu (cheriehu.eth) — Founder. Oversees all aspects of Water & Music’s strategy and vision, with a focus on editorial, research and DAO design.
- Alexander Flores (aflores.eth) — Tech and strategy. Leads development of both internal and external community/research tooling for W&M, and steers higher-level DAO strategy and design.
- Katherine Rodgers (katherineolivia.eth) — Community ops. Looks after the W&M community’s health through a combination of member onboarding/support, Discord server moderation/curation, community analytics and educational initiatives.
- Brooke Jackson (brookejaxon.eth) — Databases and business affairs. Leads weekly tracking and curation of music/tech trends and deals across our suite of databases, and provides high-level support on business affairs for the W&M DAO, including legal/regulatory compliance and business/partnership development.
- Diana Gremore (dianasaur.eth) — Events. Oversees W&M’s strategy, ops and programming for both virtual and in-person events, and coordinates contributors to W&M’s Events Committee.
- Yung Spielburg (yungspielburg.eth) — Collaborative research/editorial. Coordinates bottom-up collaborative research and editorial projects from the W&M community, including project ideation, project management and contributor onboarding/experience.
All of these Core Team members were hired directly from within the W&M community, and have both extensive operational/strategic experience and deep context on our mission, voice and community ethos. We believe this core team has the skills, knowledge and commitment to steward W&M as it grows and expands into a new era as a DAO.
Any future modifications (both additions and removals) to the W&M Core Team and multisig wallet ownership, and the processes and policies by which those changes take place, will be subject to $STREAM holder approval and put to a token vote on Snapshot. We will work with our recently formed Culture Committee to formulate a proper onboarding/offboarding process for the Core Team, and look forward to sharing more updates on these discussions in future proposals and $STREAM holder calls.
