The beta version of the pixie market is an interim solution until a full featured solution, probably built on seaport (https://opensea.io/blog/announcements/introducing-seaport-protocol/) can be fully built out.

Pixie market beta will be primarily offered on a limited basis at first in exchange for higher value NFTs such as WOWs and will be managed by “The Team” (Lily, Chane and Konop) but not available to them (IE, no team members will be able to utilize the pixie market during beta). Always 20% of the vault value will be placed on the pixie market and prices will be determined by “The Team” on a trial basis and up for changes at any time. The purpose of the pixie market is for larger holders to be able to access value from their pixies without having to sell large numbers of Wow Pixie NFTs and to encourage people to purchase more pixies with the idea that they could exchange for other NFTs in the future increasing velocity and value of the NFTs. Wow Pixie NFTs collected to the DAO from the market will be placed into a liquidity pool (https://nftx.io/) for purposes of earning yield for the DAO. Once Beta testing is over we will fully launch Pixie market in the future if voted to do so by the DAO.
