YAK Deployment on Mantle Network

Background

Mantle Network is an optimistic Ethereum layer-2 (L2) solution with an EVM-compatible execution environment. Mantle is DAO-governed and employs a modular approach to execution, consensus, settlement, and data availability. Mantle current holds a TVL >$125M.

Proposal

Deploy YAK to Mantle as a LayerZero OFTv2 so that it can be bridged to/from Mantle. YAK tokenomics are not affected by the availability of a bridge.

• Only 10,000 YAK can ever exist with the fixed-supply accounting handled on Avalanche.
• YAK must be locked on Avalanche before it can be minted on Mantle
• YAK must be burned on Mantle before it can be unlocked on Avalanche
