YIP-12: v3 Emissions Proposal

As yAxis approaches the launch of v3, a governance vote is required to approve the new YAXIS emissions schedule. This is an important milestone, as the rate of emissions will be crucial to attracting TVL.

The approach to emissions requires a balance between providing sufficient incentive to attract depositors whilst protecting the token price from overly aggressive sell pressure. yAxis Project Team Lead Bobby has laid out a proposed schedule that addresses both these considerations. If approved, this YIP-12 v3 Emissions proposal would allocate YAXIS thusly:

• 50,000 YAXIS per month to the vault (annualised over the year)
• 200,000 YAXIS per month to staking (annualised over the year)
• No changes to LP emissions (expires 26 Nov 2021)
