Background The NFG system accepts a single payment from an administrator and distributes it amongst the registrants based on their individual share of the total development points from all registrants. This vote will determine how the budget is spent (if so allocated in the concurrent vote).
Payments: Payments will occur in US Dollar Coin on the Polygon network to the wallet address supplied at registration. The proceeds allocated for the entire pool, denominated in LOKA, will be converted to USDC prior to payment, or an equivalent value will be used from the DAO’s USDC balance as calculated using the current market price at the time of payment.
Limitations: To prevent an excessive distribution, a limit must be implemented. Simply distributing the budgeted amount to the pool would result in wildly varying and unacceptably large rewards. This limit would be a fixed amount per 1000 development points. Two models are presented as options below.
Leftover funding: Funds allocated for a program period that are not used will be held in reserve to supplement future periods. This will help reduce fluctuations in reward amounts and/or future votes needed to adjust the budget.
Pool Structure Model A: A single pool, accepting of all registrants. -- 0.15 USDC per 1k point reward limit
Model B: Two pools, with alliance members receiving a premium. -- 0.15 USDC limit for standard participants -- 0.20 USDC limit for guild participants (1 account per member) To qualify as a guild participant, a player must be on Continent 1 and be a member of a YGG alliance (YGG0, YGG1, YGG2, or YGGS). Secondary account(s) may participate in the standard pool.
