Land Program Payout Currency Change

With USDC having moved to a new contract, and with WLOKA claimable from lands, we have a choice on whether we want to keep using the original USDC contract (now referred to as USDC.e), the new Native USDC, or switch to WLOKA.

USDC vs USDC.e

• USDC.e is the token currently used for payout.
• USDC.e is the old "Bridged USDC"
• Native USDC is the new contract for USDC
• Using either doesn't make much difference as USDC and USDC.e can trade 1:1 and most exchanges that accept USDC on Polygon will accept either.
• Payout limit would remain at 0.04 USDC per 1000 development points.

WLOKA

• Payout value, in USD, would fluctuate with the valuation of LOKA.
• There would no longer be a need to adjust payout limits to accommodate market fluctuations.
• Payout would become 0.15 WLOKA per 1000 dev points, roughly equivalent to the current payout amount.

Effective Date

• If the payment token is changed by this vote, this will take affect as early as practical, determined by NFG making the change in their system.
