[No.2] Selection of the Next Network for Integration with zkLink Nova

Proposal summary

This governance proposal seeks to determine the next network to be integrated with zkLink Nova. The options under consideration include Mode, Taiko, and X Layer.

Motivation

The primary goal of integrating a new network with zkLink Nova is to expand the capabilities of zkLink Nova by increasing its asset diversity and broadening its liquidity base. This allows zkLink Nova users to interact with a wider range of assets that are natively available on the new network, thereby enhancing the user experience and potential yield opportunities.

Furthermore, the integration will strengthen zkLink Nova’s position within the Ethereum ecosystem through increased liquidity aggregation and attract a wider community of users and dApp developers to the zkLink Nova ecosystem.

Selecting the next network for integration is thus a strategic priority that supports our long-term objectives of growth and furthers our mission of liquidity aggregation.

There are no current financial or contractual relationships between zkLink Labs and the labs or foundations associated with Mode and Taiko. OKX Ventures is an investor in zkLink. Despite this past funding, there have been no exchanges of funds or tokens related to this current integration proposal.
