Should the Unstake Fee of DAO Staking Pool be Reduced?
As many stakeholders know, the DAO Staking Pool currently imposes a 1% Unstake Fee to incentivize loyalty. This fee is then distributed to other stakers who remain in the pool.
Why 1%? Initially, the average staking APY is around 25%, and 1% corresponds to 2 weeks of staking. This is a balanced percentage to encourage individuals who haven't staked yet to participate in the pool, while also providing sufficient motivation for current stakers to remain in the pool.
The current 15-day averaged APY is 14%.
Therefore, we are seeking the opinion of the DAO on whether to change this percentage to:
