How should we compensate the community for their lost BRAINZ

GOAL:

Fairly compensate community members for their lost $BRAINZ, via a method that least hurts the DAO.

DESCRIPTION:

The DAO has been brainstorming ways to best compensate people for their lost $BRAINZ from staking their zToadz in the old exploitable and now-retired Legacy staking contract.

With volume relatively low, and gas fees high, airdropping the $BRAINZ or distributing via a claim contract seems likely to do more damage than good. Airdropping the tokens would cost the DAO roughly 10 eth (much too expensive) and a claim contract will cost each individual a gas fee to claim.

Our other option is to temporarily increase emissions, to compensate our members. This seems to be the most popular solution thus far, as it eliminates the need to spend a gas fee.
